Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a Clinical Dietitian for Kidney Disease Management, you will play a critical role in providing personalized nutrition care to our patients. Your expertise will help patients achieve and maintain optimal nutritional status, leading to better health outcomes and improved quality of life.
Responsibilities
Assess patients' nutritional needs and provide education on diet and kidney disease.
Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Conduct ongoing assessments and counseling to support patients in achieving and sustaining effective nutritional status.
Monitor and adjust nutrition therapy as needed, addressing any issues impacting patient outcomes.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and implement effective interventions, resources, or solutions for malnourished or at-risk patients.
Stay up-to-date with the latest renal nutrition therapy best practices, participating in ongoing education and training opportunities.
Requirements
Registered Dietitian (RD) certification and state licensure (if applicable).
Board Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition (BCSRN) certification a plus.
At least 1 year of experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
Previous renal experience preferred.
