About the Role:
As a Student Transportation Specialist, you will begin your journey with us as a Driver in Training. We pride ourselves on having the best-trained drivers in the industry, and we invest significantly in the training and development of our team members.
During your training, you will learn essential skills, including obtaining necessary driver endorsements and understanding our company policies and procedures. Upon successful completion of the training program, you will transition into the role of Student Transportation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and dependable transportation services by operating a designated vehicle along a fixed or variable route.
- Arrive on time for duty and maintain punctuality throughout the route while ensuring safety.
- Assist passengers in evacuating the vehicle during emergencies.
- Report any incidents or accidents in accordance with company policies.
- Adhere to company policies regarding student and passenger management.
- Communicate effectively with relevant personnel regarding any issues or procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including route change sheets and time cards, and submit them promptly.
- Foster a cooperative environment with colleagues, supervisors, customers, and passengers, promoting goodwill.
- Utilize vehicle equipment safely and efficiently, including wheelchair lifts and emergency tools.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, with specific responsibilities for Paratransit Drivers as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old; 25 years old for specific roles as per state regulations.
- Possess or be able to obtain and maintain all valid state licenses and certifications required to operate company vehicles.
- Meet physical and medical standards and pass substance abuse screenings.
- Successfully complete all training requirements.
- Practice defensive driving and adhere to safe driving habits to prevent accidents.
- Comply with all relevant federal, state, and local driver regulations.
