Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and caring Relief Residential Care Specialist to join our team. As a Relief Residential Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission by providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Communication and Collaboration
Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other staff members to ensure seamless care and support.
Individualized Support PlansImplement individual support plans, assessing strengths and skills in daily living, and assist adults with developmental disabilities in identifying, developing, and participating in meaningful activities to increase functional independence.
Assessment and TrainingAdminister assessment instruments and assist in the development of training programs for persons with developmental disabilities, focusing on basic living skills, independent living skills, vocational skills, and academic skills.
Teamwork and CollaborationWork collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the best possible care and support for our clients.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
A High School Diploma or HSE is required, along with past employment experience in a related field.
Skills and AbilitiesComputer literacy skills, including the ability to navigate, record, and use performance-based software and electronic medical records systems. Interpersonal oral and written communications skills to work as a team member, make observations, and report them accurately.
Certifications and BackgroundA valid Montana Driver's License or the ability to obtain one, and an acceptable driving record. An acceptable criminal and protective services background check.
