Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer for New Generation Projects, you will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of new generation projects. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a technical leader and main interface with the Owners Engineers, reviewing project documentation and advising project managers on complex topics.

- Enforce and interface with design engineering to apply and interpret design intent with regards to technical specification compliance, operability, maintainability, and safety.
- Assist Contractors and Construction Coordinators in retrieving existing plant documentation to perform their design and installation activities.
- Perform engineering inspections of new equipment and coordinate engineering inspections of contractor-installed systems and equipment for compliance to manufacturer requirements, technical specifications, and industry standards.
- Coordinate Contractors' engineering requested walk-downs and various technical inspections.
- Participate in system walk-downs and punch-list plans and specifications, perform analysis, and provide reports on assigned tasks involving design and construction of new facilities or operation and maintenance of existing facilities.
- Technically involved in the resolution of equipment and operational problems that may include performing field investigation or inspections, performing design work, and detailed checking of design computations done by others, or general coordination of specific design aspects into a project.
- Lead Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; And 6 years related Engineering experience (at least 4 years as an Engineer, and a maximum of 2 years 'related experience' which may include non-Engineer experience such as Engineering Internship, Design, Drafting, and Engineering Tech experience. This type of experience will be counted at half rate.)
- Valid State Drivers License.
- Professional Engineer designation.
- Senior Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or) a PE; And 5 years related Engineering experience (at least 3 years as an Engineer and a maximum of 2 years related experience which may include non-Engineer experience such as Engineering Internship, Design, Drafting, and Engineering Tech experience. This type of experience will be counted at half rate.)
- Valid Driver's License.
May require travel. May be required to work non-standard work schedules. May be exposed to extreme conditions and inclement weather.
