Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Management: Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.
  • Electrical Equipment Installation: Bend and install EMT, PVC, IMC, and GRC up to 2 inches.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order and manage needed equipment and/or materials to support electrical projects.
  • Team Collaboration: Interact with and support Alamon team members from other divisions to achieve project goals.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with all members of the project team to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Reporting: This position reports to the Energy Services Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess a current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no DUI/DWIs within the past 5 years.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel throughout the United States.
  • Responsibility: Must be responsible and have a team-oriented mindset.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possess and maintain a Journeyman License (Preferred).
  • Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of the National Electric Code.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and problem solve.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Work Schedule: Willingness to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Experience: Experience with underground and site work.
  • Preferred Experience: Experience with UPS, PV, EV Charging Stations, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Wireless, or a Central Office environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting: Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Climbing: The ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, and work in awkward positions for several hours at a time is required.
  • Weather Conditions: Must be able to work during inclement weather.
Work Environment
  • Construction Sites: The work environment includes active construction sites and environmentally controlled indoor sites.
  • Noise Levels: The employee may be subjected to noise levels which may range from low volume to loud and all employees will be required to wear provided safety hearing devices.
  • Weather Conditions: This position requires working indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather scenarios including hot, cold, and in finished and occupied buildings.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Must always wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with Company standards and governmental regulations.
