About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our team at Colorado Canine Orthopedics. As a vital member of our team, you will work closely with our veterinarians and technicians to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Veterinary Care: Assist veterinarians in ensuring exceptional veterinary care, advocate for patients, and educate clients on their care and treatment.
  • Assisting with Patient Treatments: Assist doctors and technicians during patient treatments and procedures, including x-rays, placing IV catheters, and running bloodwork.
  • Animal Husbandry and Care: Provide basic animal husbandry and care, including cleaning, laundry, and kennel maintenance.
  • Maintaining a Clean Environment: Maintain the surgical suite and equipment before, during, and after surgery.
  • Professional Development: Continuously advance your knowledge base and skill set to provide the highest level of care.
  • Mentorship and Teamwork: Willingly guide, mentor, and support fellow team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
