- Support the surgical team by providing general veterinary assistance and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Opportunity to learn and develop sterile surgical scrub technique and assist in surgeries.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care and comfort.
- Maintain accurate records and logs, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- At least one year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant or similar veterinary position.
- Patient and caring personality, with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, maintain accurate records, and lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate from a Veterinary Assistant program is a plus.
- Competitive hourly rate, $15-$18/hour, depending on certifications and experience.
