Role Summary: The Claims Analyst II will take charge of managing Workers' Compensation and General Liability claims, spearheading various projects and initiatives in collaboration with internal Risk & Safety colleagues and other departments. Responsibilities include crafting project plans, engaging with relevant stakeholders, addressing companywide communication requirements, and producing communication materials. This position offers the chance to refine strategic problem-solving abilities and foster business relationships while suggesting innovative processes and protocols. Ideal candidates will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive approach to project execution.

Position Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analyses of ongoing projects and provide updates to leadership.
  • Collaborate with external partners, including third-party administrators.
  • Propose enhancements to processes within your area of responsibility.
  • Manage team projects from initiation through to implementation.
  • Evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of various initiatives.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports and timelines.
  • Analyze existing procedures to identify best practices.
  • Assess emerging risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate claim reviews and stewardship meetings.
  • Communicate relevant information effectively to team members and leadership.
  • Adhere to privacy and security protocols regarding sensitive information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Competencies:

  • Familiarity with Workers' Compensation, General Liability, Auto Liability, and Property claims processes.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practices.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Safety Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Risk Management, Safety, or Legal Services is required.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work may be conducted in an office or remote setting, utilizing a computer and office equipment as necessary.
  • Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand, and move between areas.
  • Frequent use of keyboard and mouse.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of items up to 25 lbs.

Travel:

  • Minimal travel may be required for training, project work, and administrative tasks.
