Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist I to join our team at Quest Diagnostics in Saint Robert, MO. As a Phlebotomist I, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a clinical setting. This is a Monday to Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM position with a pay range of $17.20+ per hour.

Responsibilities
  1. Collect blood specimens from patients in a clinical setting, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
  2. Administer oral solutions to patients as needed.
  3. Verify patient information and test orders using lab technology systems and approved tools.
  4. Enter data accurately into computer systems and maintain patient records.
  5. Process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
  6. Perform non-patient facing duties, including inventory management, sanitizing equipment, and answering phones.
  7. Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
  8. Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data as required.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent, medical training, and phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). One year of phlebotomy experience and customer service experience are preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience is also required.
