Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Atlas Toyota Material Handling. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Toyota and other makes of lift-trucks and heavy-duty material handling equipment. You will also conduct preventative maintenance on customer forklifts and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products Atlas sells and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on customer forklifts to prevent downtime and extend equipment life
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products Atlas sells and services to provide expert advice and support to customers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of service requests
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Strong equipment repair, mechanical and/or electrical skills
  • Experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in industrial or automotive industries
  • A willingness to learn and be trained
  • The ability to manage time and attendance and work with minimal supervision
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position requires but is not limited to standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.
