The Director of New Business Development is a key role responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and execution of a comprehensive new business strategy. This includes building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful client onboarding and sales outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Plan and Pipeline: Develop and execute an annual new business sales revenue plan, leveraging sales pipeline technology to research and identify potential clients and build a prospect list.
- New Business Development: Collaborate with the Chief Revenue Officer to develop a new business plan, sales pipeline, and client onboarding process, working closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless execution.
- New Client Pitches and Onboarding: Develop and deliver custom client pitches, leveraging a deep understanding of marketing and sales strategies to build a linqd. capabilities pitch and/or custom solution.
- Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring successful client onboarding and sales outcomes.
- Experience: At least five to eight years of experience in a new business development role, with a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development.
- Industry Knowledge: Building industry experience or related multi-channel/multi-audience industry (B2B2C) is required.
- Skills: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and strategies to C-level executives.
- Education: BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields, with an MBA preferred.
