Job Summary

UCHealth is seeking a highly skilled Forensic Nurse Examiner Telehealth Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Forensic Nursing team, you will provide telehealth support to rural SANE programs, assist with the development of a plan of care, and provide guidance with assessment, documentation, evidence collection, and community partner interactions as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate SANE/SAFE educational programs
  • Collaborate with managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competency of staff and new hires
  • Serve as a consultant for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development
  • Utilize methods, measurements, and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals
Requirements
  • Credentials: Basic Life Support, Registered Nurse, Sexual Assault Nurse Exam - Adult/Adolescent
  • Minimum Required Education: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program and completion of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner training
  • Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider, National certification as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Adult (SANE-A)
  • Minimum Experience: 3 years of clinical experience in forensic nursing
