Position Purpose:

The Senior Vice President, Fleet Management is tasked with leading the overall performance of Tel360's Fleet Management division. This role encompasses oversight of sales operations, enhancing sales efficiency, and providing direction and motivation to all team members to achieve and surpass financial, administrative, and ethical performance benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the sales operations of Tel360's Fleet Management Division under the guidance of Executive leadership.
  • Safeguard the interests of Tel360.
  • Achieve or exceed the financial and operational performance targets set by Executive leadership.
  • Manage the leasing portfolio to ensure growth and financial success while balancing credit risk and concentration levels.
  • Effectively communicate divisional activities and outcomes to Executive leadership.
  • Guide, motivate, and assess the performance of divisional managers and staff to ensure efficient operations that align with corporate objectives.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by anticipating needs and implementing strategic improvements.
  • Oversee budgeting processes, monitor costs, and develop and execute strategic plans for the division.
  • Promote company offerings and services.
  • Manage personnel, including recruitment, hiring, and developing leadership within the division.
  • Identify opportunities for divisional enhancements and create actionable plans for success.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Implement sales strategies to elevate Tel360's industry standing while managing detailed sales expectations.
  • Address unforeseen challenges and efficiently troubleshoot solutions.
  • Represent the company professionally at various events.
  • Monitor industry trends and attend relevant events to stay informed of new initiatives.
  • Foster strong internal relationships to promote effective productivity within the division.
  • Continuously learn and share insights to improve processes and responsibilities.
  • Travel as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B leasing sales within the transportation sector.
  • 10+ years of progressive management experience in the equipment leasing industry or a related field.
  • 5+ years in a director-level role or higher in equipment leasing for the transportation sector.
  • 10+ years of experience managing multiple locations and supervising a team of 10 or more.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to build and inspire teams.
  • Extensive experience in commercial truck and trailer leasing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, with the ability to adapt to company-specific software.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, manage, and develop personnel to meet organizational goals.
  • Positive, energetic personality with a strong work ethic.
  • Effective networking skills for problem-solving.
  • Well-organized, proactive, and results-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
