Responsibilities:
  • Act as a member of the professional team for the Intensive Treatment Service homes.
  • Engage with adults exhibiting significant behavioral challenges in an Intensive Treatment Services environment, utilizing best practices and adapting to client needs.
  • Conduct annual functional assessments to create and implement Behavioral Support Plans (BSP), adjusting as necessary.
  • Provide direct oversight, assessment, intervention, and applied training for staff on the execution of individual behavioral support plans.
  • Ensure all behavioral services are accurately documented and comply with billing criteria.
  • Maintain a system for collecting objective data regarding the skills and needs of clients served.
  • Keep a record of program-specific information and quality outcome data.
  • Attend individual psychiatric appointments and inpatient psychiatric discharge meetings.
  • Advocate for the individuals served.
  • Collaborate with other therapists to generate ideas for special projects and work as a team to develop and implement those initiatives.
  • Participate in all agency, departmental, and client-specific meetings as required.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development training.
  • Report any suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to the supervisor or department head.
  • Adhere to all standards to ensure the health and safety of all individuals.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work, or a related field.
  • Current BCBA License/Certification
  • A minimum of two years' experience in behavior support evaluation and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Valid Driver's License and auto insurance.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Proficiency in technology.
  • Must be experienced and competent in the profession and maintain any necessary licenses, training, and/or certifications.
