About the Role:

The Conference Concierge is a key member of the Sales & Conference Services Team at Williamsburg Lodge, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless event execution. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure client satisfaction by verifying room status, cleanliness, and setup, as well as audio-visual and information technology setups, and addressing any deficiencies.
  • Act as the on-site representative for Williamsburg Lodge during events, providing a high level of service and ensuring a positive experience for guests.
  • Meet daily with event planners to review requirements and ensure that all needs are met.
  • Collaborate with in-house staff and vendors to coordinate the use of Williamsburg Lodge services and meet client needs.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and resolve any issues, complaints, or problems to ensure quality delivery of service and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain the Daily Flash Report, detailing any important information for the day in the Conference Center.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for conferences and events.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • In-depth knowledge of hotel operations and a general understanding of the Williamsburg Lodge and its services.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays as required.
  • Ability to drive to outside sales calls.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other hotel programs, with the ability to effectively manage the Concierge Business Center.
