About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Disaster Recovery Manager to join our team at Paul Davis Restoration of Santa Clarita, CA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the mitigation and restoration of properties affected by disasters such as fires, floods, and mold growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of experienced technicians and support staff to ensure the successful completion of mitigation and restoration projects.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mitigation and restoration projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that work is being performed to the highest standards and that clients are satisfied with the work being done.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed and satisfied with the progress of projects.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in disaster recovery, mitigation, or restoration.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. construction management, business administration) preferred.
  • Certifications: IICRC-ASD, WRT certifications required; additional certifications in IICRC a plus.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
