Job Description

The Guest Services Agent is a key member of the hotel team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
  • Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Process all cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining the security of cash and credit card transactions.
  • Responsible for maintaining the security of guest information and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding health, safety, and alcohol services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including up-selling rooms, promoting teamwork and quality service, and ensuring guest special requests are fulfilled.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of previous hotel experience or retail customer service preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills, with mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred.
