Job Summary

Ross Plumbing is seeking a skilled Commercial Plumbing Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for creating accurate estimates for commercial plumbing projects, working collaboratively with clients, contractors, and team members to gather project information, and reviewing construction blueprints and project specifications to determine costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed estimates for commercial plumbing projects, including material lists and vendor quotes
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers to gather project information and ensure accurate budgeting and scheduling
  • Review construction blueprints and project specifications to determine costs and identify potential issues
  • Provide detailed cost breakdowns to clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date on industry advancements, building codes, and regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, or HS Diploma with 3 years estimating experience or HS Diploma with 5 years trade-related experience
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and construction methods
  • Proficient in reading construction blueprints and using estimation software
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with standard English written grammar and English usage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and systems
  • Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment
  • Knowledge of Estimating Software, Excel, Word, and other relevant computer programs
  • Valid Florida Driver's License
