Job Title: Senior Principal Software Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Software Security Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Software Security Sensors and Effectors Department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating secure software applications for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply system security principles to the design and implementation of hardened signal processing software applications.
  • Develop software applications using C and C++ languages on a variety of computing platforms.
  • Understand real-time software design and the performance implications associated with specific system security implementations.
  • Experience working in a team environment developing and integrating software applications.
  • Experience with C/C++ and security-relevant tools and devices.
  • Experience in Agile and DevSecOps environments.
  • Knowledge of modern computer architectures and hardware technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, or related engineering/science discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development and security.
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
