Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Services Manager to oversee the safe and efficient transportation of students to schools in the area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing daily transportation schedules and routes, collaborating with school administrators, and ensuring compliance with state and district transportation policies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily transportation schedules and routes to ensure timely and safe student transportation.
  • Collaborate with school administrators to address student transportation needs and develop solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with state and district transportation policies and regulations.
  • Supervise and coordinate school bus drivers and monitors to ensure a high level of service.
  • Monitor fleet maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
  • Resolve transportation-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and community stakeholders to build trust and confidence in our transportation services.
  • Maintain accurate transportation records and documentation to ensure compliance and accountability.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in transportation, education, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage a team and collaborate with school administrators.
  • Ability to follow directions and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
