Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compound Semiconductor Process Engineer to join our Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and executing process development efforts, improving product yield, and developing new processes and device capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute process development plans to improve product yield and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Design and implement new processes and device capabilities
  • Conduct process characterization and metrology to ensure process control and quality
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior work experience, or Master's degree in STEM and 3 years of prior work experience, or PhD in STEM
  • Experience in semiconductor processing techniques such as photo lithography, dry etching, metals evaporation, and optical or scanning electron microscope inspections
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD in STEM
  • Experience with statistical process control and lean manufacturing methods
  • Experience with data analysis software packages such as MATLAB, Python, SQL, and JMP
  • Experience with characterizing, understanding, and improving semiconductor device performance and reliability
