Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Class A CDL driver to join our team at Quality Carriers. As a local driver, you will be responsible for transporting bulk chemicals and other hazardous materials within a 250-mile radius of our Battle Mountain, NV terminal.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor trailer and tanker unit to transport bulk chemicals and other hazardous materials
  • Ensure safe and efficient transportation of cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and cargo
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, other drivers, and terminal staff
  • Meet or exceed company safety standards and maintain a clean driving record
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with 1 year of tractor trailer experience in the last 3 years or 1 year of tanker experience in the last 10 years
  • 5 years of safe driving experience with no incidents
  • Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
  • 3 years of recent Hazmat experience
  • MSHA certification or willingness to obtain
  • No alcohol or drug-related convictions in the past 10 years
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical, pulmonary function test, and drug screen
