Position Summary
The Box Office Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the daily functions of the box office. This position involves supervising staff, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring precise and prompt ticket sales, and maintaining comprehensive records. The supervisor collaborates closely with event organizers and other departments to guarantee a seamless ticketing experience for all attendees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the performance of Representatives and Leads.
  • Support Representatives and Leads, including training new personnel on systems and policies.
  • Monitor and record the attendance of Representatives.
  • Organize scheduled breaks and shifts for Representatives and Leads.
  • Communicate effectively with the Box Office Manager and/or Assistant Box Office Manager regarding any issues that require escalation.
  • Provide coverage for Supervisors and Leads as necessary.
  • May assist in the setup and dismantling of Box Office, Main and VIP Entrances, Credentials, and Equipment.
  • Resolve issues related to TIXR, WRSTBND transactions, and complex customer service situations.

Education & Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Box Office Lead role.
  • Expertise in TIXR and WRSTBND systems.
  • Proficient in handling challenging customer interactions with professionalism.
  • Skilled in de-escalation techniques.
  • Availability to work major festivals and a significant portion of special events throughout the year.

Work Environment
This position is primarily office-based, with regular travel to event sites required. Evening and weekend work is an essential aspect of this role.

Physical Requirements
Ability to adapt to various temperature climates, endure loud noise levels, and remain stationary for extended periods. Capable of lifting objects up to 25 lbs.

Compensation
Negotiable based on full-time, part-time, or seasonal employment.
