Job Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst will be instrumental in managing the financial dimensions of our research and development initiatives and other capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and sustain financial models to facilitate budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation for various projects.
2. Oversee project spending and compare it against budgetary goals, providing consistent updates and strategic recommendations to upper management.
3. Collaborate with pertinent teams to assess project viability, determine resource needs, and alleviate financial risks.
4. Enforce cost management strategies and pinpoint opportunities for financial optimization to enhance the efficiency of investments.
5. Work alongside stakeholders to create business cases for new projects, conducting financial assessments and scenario analyses to aid in decision-making.

Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and deliver financial reports, variance assessments, and on-demand analyses to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for strategic initiatives.

Industry Awareness:
Stay updated on market trends, regulatory shifts, and new technologies to offer proactive financial insights and support to various teams.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
- Master’s degree with an MBA, CPA, and/or CMA is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, with a preferred background in R&D, PMO, or Clinical sectors.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or control, ideally with experience in project evaluation and management.
- Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting methodologies, and variance analysis.
- Exceptional analytical abilities with a strong attention to detail and the capacity to interpret complex datasets.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial planning and ERP systems is advantageous.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-making at all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing competing priorities effectively.
- Strategic mindset focused on driving continuous improvement and delivering actionable insights to support business goals.
