We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Harman International Industries. Key Responsibilities- Design and develop state-of-the-art recommendation systems that deliver personalized music experiences to users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning capabilities into our music streaming platform.
- Develop and maintain production-grade machine learning systems using Python and other relevant technologies.
- Work closely with data scientists and engineers to design and implement data pipelines and machine learning models.
- Contribute to the development of our company's overall machine learning strategy and roadmap.
- 15+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a strong focus on building and deploying production-grade systems.
- Demonstrated leadership experience as a team lead or staff engineer, with a proven track record of mentoring and guiding team members.
- Strong expertise in building, measuring, and operating recommendation systems, with a deep understanding of neural recommendation systems, collaborative filtering, and content-based recommendations.
- Familiarity with Generative AI technologies and experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
- Expertise in deployment technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Serverless architectures, as well as strong knowledge of databases, caches, event streaming, queues, data warehouses, and other relevant technologies.
- A competitive salary range of $142,500 - $209,000.
