ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated success in selling capital equipment to hospital operating rooms.
  • Proven track record of consultative and persuasive selling to a clinical audience; exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities and outstanding follow-up skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct direct sales calls within hospital and ambulatory surgical center markets, initiating and managing clinical product evaluations, acquiring new clients while enhancing product utilization at existing accounts. Focus areas include O.R., ICU, PACU, and other relevant applications.
  • Develop and execute a territory sales and marketing strategy aimed at achieving or surpassing sales targets; regularly review outcomes and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Formulate and apply effective sales strategies and tactics to adapt to evolving market conditions and specific challenges within the assigned territory.
  • Participate in local and national trade shows and conventions as required; assist with equipment coordination, setup, and product demonstrations.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of account interactions and sales activities in the CRM system, updating weekly. Complete and submit all required administrative tasks promptly.
  • Fulfill and maintain vendor credentialing requirements, including necessary vaccinations.
  • Provide product training, inservicing, and technical support to clients as needed.
  • Actively engage in team meetings and discussions; share customer insights and best practices proactively.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • Up to $1000/month for mileage reimbursement.
  • Up to $100/month for cell phone reimbursement.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Communication, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a sales specialist in the O.R., ICU, and/or PACU. Previous experience selling to Anesthesiologists is a significant advantage.
  • Proficient computer skills to perform essential functions as outlined above.
