Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Financial Services Representative to join our team at Blaze Credit Union. As a Financial Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members by helping them achieve their financial goals. This includes educating members on how to optimize our services to meet their individual needs, performing duties and responsibilities related to opening and processing changes on various account types, and overseeing the consumer loan process following approved guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Educate members on how to optimize our services to meet their individual needs
  • Perform duties and responsibilities related to opening and processing changes on various account types, including Savings, Checking, Certificate, Retirement, Legal, and Business Accounts
  • Oversee the consumer loan process following approved guidelines
  • Create meaningful relationships with members through excellent service and face-to-face interaction
  • Support your team by taking initiative to meet our growth objectives

Requirements
  • You are passionate about helping others and are member-centric
  • You have an understanding of account opening, lending, and other financial products
  • You are comfortable having conversations and making recommendations
  • You seek new ways to serve others in your community and are innovative
  • You work well with others, even when things don't go as planned
  • You enjoy a fast-paced environment and can multi-task
  • You have 1-3 years' experience working in a financial institution (required)
  • You have a High School degree or GED (required)
