About the Role

MUFG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering innovative technology solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior technical team members and developers to conceptualize, design, and deliver technology solutions.
  • Oversee ongoing maintenance for SaaS solutions, working closely with vendor support.
  • Deliver projects that adhere to agile practices, including sprints, automated unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing pipelines.
  • Perform complex application design and programming activities in the latest technologies, including Java, REST, Microservices, Angular, React, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Kafka, Hibernate, MQ, OpenShift, AWS/Cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins.
  • Provide technical leadership, including architecting applications, mentoring developers, making smart technology decisions, and more.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in leading/managing technical software design and development in enterprise web applications, integration services, and back-end processing.
  • Minimum 8 years of application design, development, and implementation.
  • Minimum 5 years supporting and integrating with third-party applications using API, MQ, SFTP, SAML, Kafka.
  • Minimum 5 years working with teams in building and deployment of applications on OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS/Cloud infrastructure.
  • Minimum 5 years working with teams in software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Minimum 6 years of developing at all levels of the application stack (front-end/UI, middle/Services, and back-end/Database).
  • Minimum 6 years' experience implementing and maintaining RESTful Microservices & APIs.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience leading technical iteration on the design, development, documentation, testing, and deployment of platform user-interface features.
  • Ability to research and learn new methodologies and technologies and bring knowledge to the team.
  • Excellent communication skills to present information to a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
What We Offer

MUFG offers a competitive salary range of $145K - $182K, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
