Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Work closely with RNs and other licensed healthcare team members to evaluate patient plans of care and progress towards goal attainment.
  • Support the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring effective outcomes and a safe and healthy environment.
Technical Capabilities
  • Clinical Competency: Possess sufficient fundamental proficiency to demonstrate nursing interventions, such as wound care, point-of-care testing, and vital signs, in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
  • LPN Care Planning: Participate in the development of patient care plans, demonstrating ability to anticipate resource needs, identify distinct tasks, set priorities, schedule activities, meet deadlines, and organize work within areas of direct responsibility.
  • LPN Patient Education: Possess sufficient fundamental proficiency to demonstrate patient education in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
  • Clinical Patient Documentation: Possess sufficient fundamental proficiency to demonstrate patient documentation in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
