Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our patients. You will work closely with our healthcare team to evaluate patient plans of care and progress towards goal attainment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver healthcare services.
  • Partner with the healthcare team to ensure patient progress and effective outcomes.
  • Support plans to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
Technical Capabilities
  • Clinical Competency: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate nursing interventions in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
  • LPN Care Planning: Participates in the development of the plan of care in consultation with the licensed healthcare team.
  • LPN Patient Education: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient education in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
  • Clinical Patient Documentation: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient documentation in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
