Job Title: Wire Harness Assembly Technician

ElectriPack Inc is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in manufacturing high-quality wire harnesses for various industries. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for building assemblies that vary from single lead repair parts to complex wire harnesses. You will be trained to use small tools and machines to complete various tasks, including wire braiding, stripping, crimping, soldering, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret engineering drawings and schematic diagrams to perform required tasks.
  • Use small tools and machines to complete various tasks, including wire braiding, stripping, crimping, soldering, and more.
  • Comply with all ElectriPack standard building procedures, including First Piece Inspections, Mid-Process Inspections, Work in Progress Documentation, and Electronic Labor Tracking.
  • Maintain work area compliance to all Standards, including labeling and storing materials, cleaning work areas, and organizing tools.
  • Packaging finished products and organizing them for shipments.
  • Completing checks on equipment and products to ensure quality production.

Requirements:
  • Entry-level position with no experience required.
  • No degree required.
  • Must be able to read and write.
  • Must be able to do basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and decimals.
  • Must be able to use a tape measure.
  • Must be able to understand Metric and US Customary units of measurement.
  • Must be able to distinguish between colors of wire.

Work Environment:

This factory is located indoors in a clean, well-lit, climate-controlled facility. The noise level is low to moderate. During certain jobs, employees are permitted to use a personal headphone in one ear. Certain jobs may be able to be performed while sitting.
