ElectriPack Inc is seeking a skilled Wire Harness Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for building high-quality wire harnesses for various industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble wire harnesses according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Use small tools and machines to complete tasks, including wire braiders, wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons, and heat guns
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and work instructions to perform required tasks
- Comply with all ElectriPack standard building procedures, including First Piece Inspections, Mid-Process Inspections, Work in Progress Documentation, and Electronic Labor Tracking
- Maintain work area compliance to all Standards, including labeling and storing materials, cleaning work areas, and putting away tools
- Packaging finished products and organizing them for shipments
- Completing checks on equipment and products to ensure quality production
- Entry-level position with no experience required
- No degree required
- Ability to read and write
- Basic arithmetic skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and decimals
- Ability to use a tape measure
- Understanding of Metric and US Customary units of measurement
- Ability to distinguish between colors of wire
This factory is located indoors in a clean, well-lit, climate-controlled facility. The noise level is low to moderate. During certain jobs, employees are permitted to use a personal headphone in one ear. Certain jobs may be able to be performed while sitting.
