Job Title: Systems Engineer-Technical Staff

MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer-Technical Staff to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual to lead a team performing systems engineering activities for a large program. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, flowing down, and tracking requirements, architecting systems, developing an MBSE model of the systems and their interfaces, planning and leading verification and validation activities, and identifying risks and defining risk mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and track requirements for large programs
  • Architect systems and develop MBSE models
  • Plan and lead verification and validation activities
  • Identify and mitigate risks
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams
Requirements
  • PhD in Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aero/Astro, Software Engineering with systems engineering for space or airborne systems preferred
  • MS degree and 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a PhD
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools
  • Experience with integration of hardware and software
