Your Responsibilities:

  • Receive service requests from the Service Resource Center, including brief descriptions of equipment/system issues.
  • Engage with customer representatives to identify equipment/system problems.
  • Conduct service and repairs on fire protection systems for commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
  • This includes but is not limited to wet (steel, copper, and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge systems, and fire pumps.
  • Adhere to established troubleshooting protocols and consult technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, and bulletins to diagnose and rectify equipment issues.
  • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals to ensure accurate service delivery.
  • Demonstrate effective customer service skills by maintaining communication with district staff and clients to guarantee complete satisfaction.
  • Complete Service Acknowledgements electronically with appropriate coding and secure customer signatures.
  • Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications We Seek:

  • 5 years of verified experience in Fire Protection Services
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational manuals
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Willingness to travel is essential.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions. Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able to work in challenging positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high-lift equipment up to 40 feet, and working in confined spaces.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, to meet customer needs.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation schedule, with overnight travel as necessary.
  • Exhibit a high level of customer service and maintain truck inventory for timely responses to customer requests.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a quick learning ability.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NICET Level II Certification
  • Backflow Prevention License
