Your Role

Our team is currently looking for a Transmission Line Engineer-in-Training to assist with transmission line initiatives ranging from 69 kV to 500 kV. This position will entail comprehensive engineering tasks from initial design concepts through to construction support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop specifications, calculations, and drawings for construction bids and contracts
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Engage in a variety of projects and enhance project management capabilities within the Power Delivery domain
Qualifications

Skills and Expertise
  • E.I.T. certification or the capability to obtain it within one year
  • Experience in creating design drawings for transmission structures
  • Understanding of geotechnical data analysis and foundation design
  • Proficiency in engineering software including PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex engineering concepts
  • Familiarity with industry standards pertaining to transmission lines
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 0-3 years of experience in high voltage transmission line design
