About the RoleThis part-time position involves assisting in the evaluation and treatment of cardiology patients in an in-patient setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of cardiology patients in an in-patient setting
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record data in patient records
- Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries
- Prepare patient workups
- Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered
The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside physicians and other advanced practice providers in a collaborative team environment. This will involve rotating coverage on weekends and holidays as required.
