About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Support Professional to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a key member of our educational staffing agency, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or group support to students with special needs, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and instructional activities under the guidance of the special education teacher.
- Collaborate with the teacher and other professionals to monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and behavior.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher in a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience working with individuals with special needs, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
