Job Summary

The Sales Associate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with national customer accounts for the company's Taro and Ohm Label Brand. This role will focus on increasing sales and managing all aspects of customer relationships while meeting reporting, budgeting, and forecasting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Taro and Ohm portfolio, competitive dynamics, and customer landscape to drive sales growth.
  • Support sales, forecasting, and planning to maximize gross margin and net sales.
  • Identify new customers and opportunities to expand the current customer base.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze sales and market trends, gather market prices, and participate in product launches.
  • Interact with Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Operations to manage all aspects of sales.
  • Participate in responding to customer RFPs and ROFRs, and support the implementation of promotional plans.
  • Monitor account/product sales, track receivable balances, and initiate regular sales meetings with customers.
  • Attend tradeshows and conferences to meet with existing and new customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S./B.A.)
  • 2+ years of Account Management experience working with direct contacts to industry buyers
  • Working knowledge of consumer product distribution channels and classes of trade preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Intermediate experience with Excel and ability to use it for forecasting
  • Ability to work under limited guidance with periodic review and interpret data into a persuasive strategic recommendation
