About the Role

">

The PHP Counselor will be responsible for developing and managing Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) services in the Adult Outpatient Department at Maryhaven, Inc.

">

This position requires a skilled and compassionate individual who can provide substance use counseling, mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and substance use education to clients.

">

The successful candidate will also develop, assign, and monitor individualized treatment and continuing care plans for clients.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Provide substance use counseling and/or mental health counseling to clients.
  • Assist with completion and/or review of substance use, bio-psychosocial, and related assessments.
  • Develop, assign, and monitor individualized treatment and continuing care plans.
  • Group facilitation skills are highly desirable for this position.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">
  • Bachelor's degree in human service or behavioral science with two years of experience in the field of substance or mental health treatment.
  • LPCC, LISW, LICDC, LPC, LSW, LISW, LCDC III, LCDC II (or comparable certification) with two years of paid full-time experience in the field of substance use, mental health or adolescent treatment, or equivalent.
  • Two years of paid full-time experience in the field of substance use or mental health treatment or equivalent.
