Job Overview

BAE Systems is seeking a qualified Systems Analyst to join our innovative team. This role is critical in supporting the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC), which plays a vital role in defense operations. The SCSC is dedicated to providing comprehensive combat systems solutions, including advanced radar and sensor technologies.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating the necessity for modifications against established baselines and hardware.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to discuss project timelines and deliverables.
  • Drafting modification proposals in accordance with site protocols and in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Conducting quality assurance checks on completed tasks.
  • Ensuring timely completion of work packages.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree coupled with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent expertise in a related field, is essential. Experience with AEGIS/SSDS systems is highly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate adaptability, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Successful candidates should be prepared to work a standard 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, during first shift hours.

Security Clearance

Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. Candidates without an active clearance may receive a contingent offer, with a delayed start date pending interim clearance approval.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in drafting modification proposals and possession of CAPM certification are advantageous. A current active Secret Clearance is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The full-time salary range for this position is $99,100. This range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries influenced by various factors, including business needs, local market conditions, and candidate qualifications.
