PQS 301 qualification is required. If selected candidate is not PQS 301 qualified on or before hire date, he/she must be willing and able to obtain PQS 301 qualification within 3 months of employment.

Successful candidate must be willing and able to perform in a variety of 40 hour work-week configurations, including:
1. Monday-Friday (5 x 8): 1st Shift
2. Monday-Friday (5 x 8): 2nd Shift
3. Variable 4 x 10 shifts that may include weekends (4 days on/3 days off) and may be 1st or 2nd shift
4. Sliding (5 x 8) work weeks (Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday) and may be 1st or 2nd shift
**PLEASE NOTE - These work week configurations may be scheduled on a rotational basis
This position requires the successful candidate to be able to obtain a Secret level clearance. The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements. You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance. If selected candidate is not in possession of an active Secret clearance, then he/she will receive a contingent offer and start date will be delayed until an interim Secret clearance is granted.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Active DoD Secret security clearance
Navy Technical âCâ school training or civilian/commercial equivalent in any one of the three SPY radar variants currently deployed in the fleet
UNIX-based open architecture experience; ability to understand UNIX-based program commands and local area network (LAN) theory
Knowledge of, or experience in, troubleshooting and maintaining functional equipment areas of the AEGIS Combat System.
Experience interfacing and working closely with US Navy personnel, civilian government personnel and technical representatives from government contractors
Pay Information
This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
