Job Description

The Intake Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Intake Program, which manages all aspects of client intake. This includes processing online applications, conducting phone and in-person interviews, monitoring client databases, and performing administrative tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the management of online application processes, including initial screening of applications.
  • Sending timely rejection and referral letters to applicants.
  • Maintaining applicant and client data tracking systems.
  • Collecting information from callers and walk-in applicants to screen their eligibility for Legal Aid's services.
  • Staffing the front desk and performing administrative tasks as needed.

  • Experience engaging with individuals who are in crisis or dealing with trauma.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.

Estimated Salary: $60,897 - $64,732 based on relevant experience and qualifications.
