We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Transitional Kindergarten Assistant to join our team at Pasadena Unified School District. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging and interactive learning activities for Transitional Kindergarten students.
  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom space.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and productive learning experience.
Requirements
  • 6 months of experience working with preschool and/or elementary school-aged children.
  • Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college/university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Units in early childhood education preferred.
  • Proof of immunization against influenza, pertussis, and measles.
