Job Summary

Brantner and Associates, Inc is seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our team. As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for operating assigned automated assembly machinery, ensuring component flow, troubleshooting and correcting machinery issues to guarantee quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Follows detailed blueprints, schematics instructions, processes, and procedures to build our product.
  • Accurately completes all essential documents (i.e. Lot History Records (LHR's), Inspection Records and Validation Documentation).
  • Positions and aligns parts in specified relationships to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.
  • Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as pad printing, adhesive bonding, light soldering, welding, and performs leak testing.
  • Adjusts and trims materials from components to achieve specified dimensional characteristics.
  • Performs online go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
  • Inspects work-in-process to documented quality standards to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
  • Packages finished assemblies or subassemblies.
  • Performs and demonstrates all manufacturing procedures after training.
  • Trains others on basic operations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year manufacturing experience required.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints and detailed drawings. Understanding of military specifications is a plus.
  • Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English. Good written and oral communication skills.
  • A safe quality-conscious attitude working in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail is imperative.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001. SAP experience is preferred but not required.
  • Team Player: Willing to help production team to complete assigned tasks. Will work overtime to support production goals as needed.
