Key Responsibilities:
  • Performance Assessment: Evaluate and track the effectiveness of auto auctions, focusing on pricing strategies, vehicle quality, auction fees, and other critical metrics. Analyze auction data to uncover trends and areas for enhancement, ensuring adherence to the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for auction remarketing.
  • Audit Execution: Conduct systematic audits of auction practices to verify compliance with company standards. Scrutinize auction records and sales transactions to ensure accuracy and identify any inconsistencies.
  • Return Enhancement: Strive to boost returns on auctioned vehicles by analyzing pricing models and suggesting modifications to optimize profitability. Collaborate with auction partners to negotiate favorable terms that benefit the company.
  • Reporting and Insights: Compile and deliver comprehensive reports on auction performance, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and emerging trends. Provide strategic recommendations aimed at improving auction outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with auction partners and relevant stakeholders to foster effective communication and collaboration. Act as a liaison to address any operational challenges and enhance efficiency.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all auction activities align with company policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations. Monitor vehicle quality and compliance processes to guarantee accurate representation at auctions. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within auction operations.
  • Special Initiatives: Participate in special projects related to auction performance and optimization as directed by management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in the auto auction sector or financial services, with a focus on performance auditing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with proficiency in interpreting complex data sets.
  • Skilled in data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering relationships with auction partners and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, taking initiative to achieve results.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards is advantageous.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 annually, with the final offer determined based on various factors such as geographic location, experience, and qualifications.
