Job Title:

Civil Engineering Faculty Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering as a tenure-track faculty member in Civil Engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses, conduct scholarly research in structural engineering, and contribute to the growth and development of our program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate courses in Civil Engineering
  • Conduct scholarly research in structural engineering
  • Advise and mentor undergraduate students
  • Participate in all aspects of the program's activities
  • Serve the profession
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
  • Interest and desire to teach at the undergraduate level
  • Strong indication to contribute to the teaching mission of Juniata College
  • Plan to develop an externally funded research program
  • Knowledge of the ABET process
