ExecuSource is looking for a motivated Associate to become a key member of our Mergers & Acquisitions division. This position is essential for overseeing due diligence initiatives, managing data repositories, and collaborating with both internal and external partners to ensure effective M&A transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee due diligence initiatives, focusing primarily on add-on acquisitions.
  • Manage data repositories and gather essential information for comprehensive reports.
  • Engage with brokers, client service teams, M&A colleagues, private equity firms, target entities, and insurers.
  • Analyze data and collaborate with service teams on add-on due diligence to secure additional premiums and facilitate the closing process.
  • Market and manage smaller platform M&A projects.
  • Draft due diligence reports, particularly for add-on acquisitions.
  • Communicate findings and post-transaction insurance strategies with private equity clients and, when necessary, target entities.
  • Implement strategies by gathering outstanding information, finalizing proposals, and securing necessary agreements.
  • Coordinate transitions and introductions to service teams.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and stewardship reviews as needed.
  • Some travel may be involved.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Familiarity with corporate insurance principles.
  • Project management capabilities to coordinate activities and information flow.
  • Detail-oriented with a comprehensive perspective.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in building relationships and fostering trust both internally and externally.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain.
