As a Radiology Imaging Specialist at Equiliem Healthcare, you will be responsible for performing routine radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable examinations in the diagnostic department of Radiology. Your expertise will be utilized to take radiographs per physician orders, protect patients and employees from unnecessary radiation, and maintain knowledge of front desk operations and computer systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable examinations in the diagnostic department of Radiology.
Take radiographs per physician orders, ensuring accurate and timely completion of exams.
Protect patients and employees from unnecessary radiation, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Maintain knowledge of front desk operations, including scheduling and patient communication.
Utilize computer systems to access patient records, order supplies, and schedule staff.
Perform operationally required duties associated with equipment quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and hospital audits.
Requirements:
Knowledge of medical terminology, isolation, and sterile techniques/procedures.
Patient positioning and equipment operation (x-ray machines and printers).
Work Schedule:
M-F 3p-11:30p, every other weekend 3p-11:30p with 1 week of call.
