Job Summary

As the Senior Clinical Development Medical Director, you will lead the strategic planning and management of clinical programs from an end-to-end clinical development perspective.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and strategic medical input for all clinical deliverables in assigned projects or sections of clinical programs.
- Develop clinical sections of trial and program level regulatory documents.
- Drive execution of assigned clinical programs and/or clinical trials in partnership with global line functions and assigned Global Trial Directors.
- Support the Global Program Clinical Head in ensuring overall safety of molecules for assigned sections.
- Provide medical input into Clinical Development Plan, Integrated Development Plan, and Clinical Trial Protocol reviews.
- Support external and internal stakeholders and decision boards as a medical expert.
Requirements:
- MD or equivalent medical degree required; advanced knowledge and clinical training in medical/scientific area; Clinical practice experience: 4 years (including residency) preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in clinical research or drug development.
- Experience in an academic or industry environment spanning clinical activities in Phases I-4 required.
- 2 years of contribution to all aspects of conducting clinical trials in a global/matrix environment in the pharmaceutical industry required.
- Working knowledge of Oncology required, with proven ability to interpret, discuss, and present efficacy and safety data.
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective scientific partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of GCP, clinical trial design, statistics, and regulatory processes.
- Previous global people management experience preferred, including management in a matrix environment.
