Drupal Support Developer Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Drupal Support Developer to join our team. As a key member of our Agency Platform Team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to Agency Platform customers
  • Maintain and operate the Agency Platform program, ensuring a secure, accessible, and well-developed website
  • Communicate effectively with customers on issues, tickets, updates, and other tasks
  • Attend and lead meetings with stakeholders to identify and resolve website issues
  • Comprehensive documentation for all support tickets and recurring issues
  • Identify and fix bugs across all websites in the Agency Platform Program
  • Respond timely to security issues, mitigate possible threats, and develop and integrate updates for security patches, system enhancements, and bug fixes
  • Support and development for the migration initiative to move all Drupal 7 websites to the latest version of the Agency Platform Program
  • Provide input and recommendations for feature enhancements to improve the customer experience

Requirements:

  • Drupal certification
  • Advanced site-building experience, including deep familiarity with Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, and Layout Builder
  • Building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
  • Experience with implementing security best practices and updates in Drupal
  • Experience with the Agile methodology and development process with the use of Agile project management tools like JIRA or Trello
  • Familiarity with the use of customer support and incident management tools like ServiceNow
  • Thorough knowledge of Pantheon architecture and supporting tools (ie Terminus, Lando, etc)
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of GIT version control systems and repositories
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience working in an IT professional setting
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Drupal Developer doing development or product management
  • Knowledge with Drupal 7/8/9/10, Drush, and Composer
  • Proficient in designing and developing responsive websites
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Ability to work effectively within a fully remote team and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
